Unlimited credential guessing via spoofed proxy headers
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Authentication bypass in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to defeat login rate limiting via spoofed proxy headers. getRealIpAddr() accepts the first valid X-Real-IP or X-Forwarded-For address whenever REMOTE_ADDR appears private, and enforceRateLimit() uses that value as its counter key. The flaw is reachable when PHP sees a private or loopback peer, including containerized and reverse-proxy deployments, and rotating the header enables unlimited login guesses from one host.
