Server command execution via AI Agent template bypass
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Code injection in Zammad 7.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with AI Agent administration rights to execute server commands. The AI Agent configuration filter fails to reject crafted template syntax in an agent field, so later ticket processing evaluates it as executable code. Exploitation requires permission to create or edit AI Agents; no other user interaction is needed, and commands can read, alter, or destroy server data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
