CVE-2026-84452Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Code execution via wildcard localhost CORS

Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

Code injection in Microsoft WinML CLI before 0.4.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious website. The unauthenticated localhost CLI API accepts wildcard cross-origin requests and forwards trust_remote_code=true into AutoConfig.from_pretrained, which imports Python from an attacker-controlled model repository. Exploitation requires the server to be running and a user to load attacker-controlled web content; code runs with the server user's privileges.
