Service crash via unbounded command-output buffering
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Denial of service in the Bash Tool in zhayujie CowAgent 2.1.0 through 2.1.7 allows remote authenticated users to crash the service. Bash.execute captures command output through unbounded stdout and stderr pipes, so a high-output command can exhaust process memory. Exploitation requires access to an agent-enabled interface and interrupts CowAgent without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
