Unauthenticated database disclosure via unquoted AJAX parameter
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
SQL injection in WP Review Slider Pro 12.7.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data through a crafted AJAX request. The wprp_load_more_revs action concatenates the sanitized but unquoted notinstring value into an id NOT IN clause without parameterization or integer casting. Exploitation requires a public page rendering the plugin shortcode to expose its nonce; time-based queries then disclose database contents.
