Cross-site scripting via executable-link filter bypass

XSS in SVGO 1.0.0 through 2.8.3, 3.0.0 through 3.3.4, and 4.0.0 through 4.0.2 allows remote attackers to run script via SVG links. The opt-in removeScripts plugin overlooks namespace-prefixed SVG anchors and checks URL schemes without first stripping ASCII tabs, line feeds, or carriage returns. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled SVG input, an active browser context, and a victim who activates the surviving link; script then runs in the SVG origin and can read data or modify content.
