Remote system-access restriction bypass
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Incorrect authorization in SiteSettings in Google Chrome before 152.0.7977.75 allows remote attackers to bypass system access restrictions. Google has not disclosed which SiteSettings authorization decision mishandles the crafted HTML page or which restricted setting becomes accessible. The crafted-page gate limits exploitation to browser content, and public sources do not identify the resulting access beyond the restriction bypass.
