Authentication bypass via surviving revoked short-token cache
Published Oct 12, 2026 · Updated Oct 12, 2026
Session revocation failure in 0xJacky Nginx UI before 2.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to regain access via revoked short tokens. DeleteUserTokens skips cache invalidation for standalone tokens lacking a long Token value, and GetTokenUserByShortToken trusts the surviving cache entry. Access to HTTP or WebSocket routes accepting short tokens resumes only when the same account is re-enabled before cache expiration and attackers retain its previously issued token.
