Process crash via unchecked CUDA kernel dispatch
Published Oct 12, 2026 · Updated Oct 12, 2026
Out-of-bounds access in Turboderp ExLlamaV3 3 allows attackers to crash the loading process via a crafted EXL3 model. In exllamav3_ext, reconstruct_slice and reconstruct_had_slice use checkpoint-derived indices to select entries from fixed 24-entry kernel function-pointer tables without bounds checks. Exploitation requires loading an attacker-controlled checkpoint; crashes are reproduced, while controlled indirect kernel dispatch depends on specific host memory layouts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
