Unauthenticated takeover via unchecked REST option updates
Published Oct 11, 2026 · Updated Oct 11, 2026
Authorization bypass in click5 CRM add-on to Gravity Forms 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to write options via REST. The options-update endpoint lacks authorization and CSRF checks and accepts option names outside the plugin's own settings. When the endpoint is reachable, unauthenticated attackers change site-wide options to enable creation of an administrator account and take over the site.
