CVE-2026-8421Network attack vector

Remote code execution via CSRF package installation

Published May 21, 2026 · Updated May 21, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in Concrete CMS 9.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through forced package installation. The install_package() method processes an installation request without validating a CSRF token, then invokes the package controller's install() method as the web server user. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator with canInstallPackages to visit a crafted page and an attacker-controlled package to be present under DIR_PACKAGES.
