Authenticated internal data access via unvalidated apiCall URL
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
SSRF in Kyverno before 1.18.0 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP data through crafted admission requests. The apiCall.service.url path substitutes resource fields into request URLs, and the admission controller sends them without URL or IP validation. A matching policy with variable substitution must exist; response bodies can appear in admission errors, exposing internal services or cloud metadata.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
