Information disclosure via unmuted consumer exceptions
Published Oct 19, 2026 · Updated Oct 19, 2026
Exception disclosure in Apache Camel's Knative HTTP consumer allows remote attackers to read internal details via failed requests. KnativeHttpConsumer.computeResponseBody converts an exchange exception into a stack trace and writes it into the HTTP response without suppressing internal details. Exploitation requires a reachable consumer and a route failure that reaches this response path; exposed information includes class names, route structure, and sensitive values embedded in exception messages.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
