Cross-origin disclosure via credentialed origin reflection
Published Oct 19, 2026 · Updated Oct 19, 2026
CORS misconfiguration in Apache Camel Platform HTTP Vertx allows remote attackers to read credentialed responses via reflected origins. The createCorsHandler() method grants credentials outside its origin check and reflects arbitrary origins when camel.server.cors.origins is unset. Exploitation requires a browser visiting an attacker-controlled origin and sending credentials to the affected endpoint; the demonstrated consequence is response disclosure, not code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
