Memory corruption in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird releases allows remote attackers to compromise affected processes via crafted content. Mozilla groups multiple internally discovered defects and discloses only that some exhibit memory corruption or another security-relevant defect; the individual loci and faulty operations are not public. Exploitation requires user interaction with browser or browser-like content; disabled scripting blocks the ordinary Thunderbird email-reading path, while successful exploitation can affect process confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
