Missing authentication in IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2 allows remote attackers to invoke privileged load-balancer operations. The LoadBalancerServlet accepts requests for those operations without first verifying an authenticated identity. Network reachability to the servlet is sufficient; successful requests can perform unauthorized actions that alter system integrity or interrupt availability.
