Unauthenticated price manipulation via client-supplied fares
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Price manipulation in MagePeople eCab Taxi Booking Manager for WooCommerce before 2.0.5 allows remote attackers to create underpriced bookings. The mptbm_add_to_cart path trusts client-supplied trip-distance and base-price values instead of recalculating the fare on the server. No authentication is required, and the resulting order total can be reduced to zero while a real taxi booking is created.
