Privilege escalation via undisclosed authentication flaw
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Improper authentication in Adobe ColdFusion 2023.0.22 and 2025.0.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to escalate privileges. Adobe has not disclosed the affected authentication locus or the operation that accepts an unauthenticated request. Reachability requires access to the administrative network zone, which is restricted by default; successful exploitation grants limited read and write access without user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
