Authenticated SSRF via unresolved hostname validation
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
SSRF in Invoice Ninja 5.13.0 through 5.13.26 allows remote authenticated users to reach restricted services through invoice PDF rendering. Purify::isHostSafe accepts innocuous hostnames using string denylist checks without resolving their destination IP addresses. An account able to edit invoice notes can make headless Chromium request attacker-controlled, internal, or cloud-metadata destinations.
