Cross-vendor profile modification via missing ownership check
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Authorization bypass in Invoice Ninja 5.13.0 through 5.13.26 allows remote authenticated users to alter another vendor's profile. The vendor profile update controller mass-assigns request data to the route-bound vendor contact and vendor without verifying that the contact belongs to the logged-in vendor. A valid vendor-portal session and a manipulated profile route are required, limiting the consequence to unauthorized modification of another vendor contact and its vendor record.
