CVE-2026-8374

Electronic lock access-control bypass

Published Oct 9, 2026 · Updated Oct 9, 2026

Authentication bypass in SwitchBot App 9.2.6 and earlier for Android allows attackers to bypass lock controls via Bluetooth messages. The CNA identifies weak initialization vectors and risky cryptographic implementation in Bluetooth communication, but its inaccessible disclosure references leave the precise protocol failure undocumented in the retrieved evidence. Bluetooth proximity is required; the reported consequence is bypass of electronic locks and access controls, without a documented Internet attack path.
