Unauthenticated privilege escalation via user-controlled key
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Authorization bypass in Microsoft Entra Azure AD B2C allows remote attackers to elevate privileges through a user-controlled key. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected endpoint or key; the service fails to verify that the supplied key is authorized for the requested privileged operation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation grants elevated cloud-service privileges that permit unauthorized data access or modification without interrupting the service.
