State changes via CSRF-unprotected GET requests
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter application state through crafted GET requests. The plugin/API/set.json.php endpoint accepts state-changing API parameters in GET requests without enforcing CSRF protection. A victim's authenticated browser must request the crafted URL; exploitation deletes videos, deactivates accounts, or modifies playlists.
