Unauthenticated user-data disclosure via Zapier key validation

Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026

Information disclosure in WPExperts New User Approve 3.1.0 through 3.2.9 allows remote attackers to read registered users' data. The Zapier integration REST routes fail to require a valid API key when the integration has no configured key; the precise failing code operation is not publicly documented. An exposed WordPress REST API and an unconfigured integration are required to retrieve user IDs, usernames, email addresses, and registration dates.
