CVE-2026-83549Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Administrator command execution via improper AMC neutralization

Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

OS command injection in SonicWall SMA 1000 Series firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands. The Appliance Management Console improperly neutralizes special elements in attacker-controlled input before using that input in an operating-system command. Administrator access to AMC is required, and successful exploitation provides remote code execution with the appliance's privileges.
