CVE-2026-83477

Unauthenticated read and write access to production data

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Improper access control in Oracle Work in Process 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 allows remote attackers to read and alter production data via TCP. Oracle identifies the Workbenches component but does not disclose the vulnerable code path or the operation performed incorrectly on TCP input. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires access to the physical communication segment; it can expose, create, delete, or modify all accessible Work in Process data.
