Authenticated database access via SOAP SQL injection
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
SQL injection in Black Duck Coverity Connect 2024.6.0 through 2026.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database contents. The SOAP API request path incorporates crafted payload data into SQL without neutralizing SQL control elements before query execution. The user must authenticate and hold the Access web services permission; exploitation grants database reads and unauthorized database commands.
