Authenticated service takeover
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Access control failure in Oracle BI Publisher 8.2.0.0.0, 12.2.1.4.0, and 26.01.0.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over the service. Oracle identifies the BI Platform Security component and SOAP interface but has not disclosed the faulty operation or request fields. Network access and a low-privileged account are required; successful exploitation grants control of BI Publisher and compromises its data and availability.
