Authenticated data modification and service interruption
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
A Web Service API flaw in Oracle BI Publisher 8.2.0.0.0, 12.2.1.4.0, and 26.01.0.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter data. Oracle identifies the SOAP transport but has not published the affected operation or how it mishandles request data. Low-privileged credentials and network access to SOAP are required; attacks can create, delete, or modify accessible data and hang or repeatedly crash the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
