Unauthenticated webhook injection via loopback proxy trust
Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026
Authentication bypass in OpenClaw 2026.1.0 through 2026.1.24 allows remote attackers to inject forged BlueBubbles webhook events. handleBlueBubblesWebhookRequest accepts any request whose socket address is loopback instead of requiring the configured shared-secret token. Exploitation requires an enabled BlueBubbles webhook behind a same-host reverse proxy, after which forged sender data can trigger unauthorized workflows.
