CVE-2026-82919Network attack vector

Unauthenticated note modification via edit endpoint

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

Missing authentication in cu Silicon Notes 0.1.0 through 0.1.5 allows remote attackers to alter notes through the edit endpoint. The create_app function in views.py exposes the edit endpoint without checking authentication before processing remote requests. No credentials or user interaction are required, but upstream documentation states that the application intentionally provides no built-in authentication and should remain on a trusted private network.
