Stored cross-site scripting via unsanitized markdown
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Aix-DB 1.2.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via saved markdown. The MarkdownPreview renderer enables markdown-it raw HTML and passes md.render() output to Vue v-html sinks without DOMPurify sanitization. Exploitation requires write access to stored chat, skill, or knowledge content and a victim to view it, enabling script execution in that viewer's browser.
