Cross-tenant database manipulation via unchecked organization identifier
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026
Authorization bypass in ToolJet before 3.16.208 allows remote authenticated users to alter or delete other tenants' database tables. The write and destroy routes in server/src/modules/tooljet-db/controller.ts pass a client-supplied organizationId to table operations without matching it to the JWT-derived organization. A standard builder role on a shared instance is sufficient to create or alter schemas, bulk-insert data, or permanently drop another tenant's tables.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
