CVE-2026-82863Hinoki check available

Monitoring evasion via incomplete selector event matching

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

Insufficient logging in @hulumi/baseline before 1.3.2 allows attackers to evade CloudTrail selector-tampering alerts. SecurityDetectionFoundation leaves some selector-change events outside its CloudTrail alarm filters, so those changes lack complete monitoring coverage. Attackers must already be able to modify CloudTrail event selectors; the flaw reduces audit visibility rather than granting AWS permissions.
