Subscriber-level course progress disclosure via skipped ownership check
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Authorization bypass in Query Solutions Ltd. Masteriyo LMS before 3.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to read other learners' activity. The course-progress endpoint skips its ownership check when the requested account is omitted or supplied as zero, returning every learner's progress records. A self-registered subscriber account is sufficient, and the exposed data is limited to learning activity rather than site configuration.
