Unauthenticated account takeover via forced login-name matching
Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
Authentication bypass in miniOrange SAML Single Sign On – SSO Login before 6.0.0 allows remote attackers to access any WordPress account. The account-linking path ignores the configured username-or-email criterion and always resolves the asserted identity by WordPress login name. Exploitation requires the site’s trusted identity provider to assert an attacker-chosen login name; administrator takeover is possible.
