Null pointer dereference in FLVMeta 1.2.0 through 1.2.2 allows context-dependent attackers to crash the utility via a malformed FLV file. The amf_object_get function advances through an AMF object using node->next->next and dereferences a missing data node before checking it for NULL. Processing an attacker-supplied file is required, and the demonstrated consequence is a process crash; the maintainer disputes security impact.
