CVE-2026-82785Network attack vector

Authenticated service interruption via invalid settings parameters

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in CONTEC CPSN-MCB271 firmware before 1.82 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. Insufficient MQTT and SNMP settings validation permits invalid parameters to overrun a stack buffer; the vendor does not identify the exact routine. Low-privileged network access is required, and successful exploitation stops the embedded system without reported data disclosure or modification.
