CVE-2026-82730Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Restricted attribute disclosure via forbidden-marker serialization

Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026

Incorrect authorization in AshTypescript before 0.18.0 allows remote attackers to read policy-denied attributes through HTTP RPC responses. ResultProcessor.normalize_primitive/1 treats an Ash.ForbiddenField marker as a generic struct, and Map.from_struct/1 serializes its original_value. Exposure requires an application to expose an AshTypescript RPC endpoint and return an embedded resource as a map while relying on field policies.
