Physical credential disclosure via persistent diagnostic logs
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Sensitive-data exposure in Botslab G980H Dash Cam firmware allows physically proximate attackers to recover WiFi credentials from removable storage. The support workflow writes WiFi credentials and other configuration data into diagnostic logs and leaves those files on the storage media after support ends. Physical possession of the removable media is required, and disclosure is limited to sensitive device information retained in those logs.
