CVE-2026-82702Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unneutralized ateFunc

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

OS command injection in Edimax BR-6214K 1.40 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its web interface. The asp_WlanMP handler passes ateFunc from /goform/asp_WlanMP into a shell command executed by system() without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Valid web-management credentials are required, and successful injection executes arbitrary commands as the root Boa web server process.
