CVE-2026-82697Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session hijacking via non-HttpOnly PHP session cookie

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

Missing HttpOnly protection in Sambit Raj Student Management System allows remote attackers to steal authenticated session cookies. Login and dashboard calls to session_start() rely on PHP defaults, causing PHPSESSID to be returned with path=/ but without HttpOnly. Exploitation requires script execution in the application origin, after which document.cookie exposes the identifier for session hijacking.
