CVE-2026-82690Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unescaped volume identifier

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

OS command injection in D-Link DNS-327L 1.10B02 and DNS-340L 1.01B04 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The cgi_VE_PWD_Check branch in /cgi-bin/ve_mgr.cgi appends the f_dev POST value to a cryptsetup command passed to /bin/sh -c without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Authenticated web-management access to the Volume Encryption workflow is required; successful exploitation runs arbitrary shell commands as the CGI process user and can alter device state, access stored data, or interrupt storage services.
