CVE-2026-82659Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated file disclosure and SSRF via raw option

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

Access-control bypass in Nodemailer before 9.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to read server files or perform SSRF via raw messages. MailComposer.compile() creates the raw message's root MimeNode without disableFileAccess or disableUrlAccess, so _getStream() opens a supplied path or fetches a supplied href. Exploitation requires an embedding application to enable either sandbox flag while allowing untrusted input to control raw; fetched bytes are delivered in outgoing email.
