Unauthenticated content disclosure via ungated RSS feeds
Published Aug 30, 2026 · Updated Aug 30, 2026
Authentication bypass in Admidio before 5.0.12 allows remote attackers to read login-only forum posts and announcements via RSS feeds. The rss/forum.php and rss/announcements.php endpoints reject only disabled modules, then emit content without enforcing login-only mode. Exposure requires RSS to be enabled, a module set to login-only, and a category without explicit view-role restrictions; it discloses titles, full text, author names, timestamps, and categories without changing data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
