Authenticated command execution via wans.flag interpolation
Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026
OS command injection in Tenda AC6 15.03.06.23 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the getLogFile endpoint. The get_log_file handler passes the wans.flag value from websGetVar() into an echo command through doSystemCmd() without preserving the double-quote boundary. A valid management session and high privileges are required; successful injection runs arbitrary commands with the httpd process's device permissions.
