Authenticated command execution via unsanitized country parameters
Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026
OS command injection in Tenda AC6 firmware 15.03.06.23 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through WifiApScan requests. The formWifiApScan handler reads wl2g.public.country and wl5g.public.country with websGetVar() and inserts either value into doSystemCmd("rm %s") without sanitization. A valid web session is required; successful injection reaches system() and runs attacker-supplied operating-system commands on the router.
