Stored script execution via unsanitized profile name
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Code Projects Employee Leave Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via Name. The Employee Profile Update handler in /EmpManageSys/editaction.php writes a crafted Name value for later profile rendering without sufficient HTML neutralization. Low-privileged access and interaction by another user are required; successful exploitation changes page content or actions in that user's browser.
