Unauthenticated administrative access via unchecked action dispatch
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026
Authorization bypass in Soarkey StudentManagement allows remote attackers to read and alter administrative data through the AdminDao servlet. At commit e08f7f1d5015af407aa4cca0ada3dea189b4937e, AdminDao.doGet dispatches the untrusted action parameter to privileged handlers without checking the caller's session, identity, or role. No login is required; exposed instances permit disclosure of user credentials and creation, modification, or deletion of departments, classes, students, courses, and grades.
