CVE-2026-82618Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote server crash via unchecked source-array length

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Aug 31, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in Systerel S2OPC 1.7.0 through 1.7.3 allows remote authenticated users to crash an OPC UA server. The set_range_matrix_on_string_array function derives its loop bound from the destination range but never verifies that the decoded source String array has the same number of elements. A client permitted to invoke the Write service can supply a two-dimensional IndexRange larger than the source array, causing a one-past-the-end Length-field read and terminating the server process.
